The Next Chapter...
We have always worked to be pioneers in the massage therapy and spa industry. In fact, we strive always to think outside the box - or better - realize that there is no box at all. From our patented WorkSmart method of massage to our creative price points, we continue to write new chapters to this book we call spa d'sante.
And now the next chapter - Therapist Owners!
Effective January 1, 2009, all spa d'sante locations are now Professional Limited Liability Companies, or PLLCs. This means that every Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) who is a part of or becomes a part of spa d'sante will also have the opportunity to obtain ownership interest at the location for which they provide services as a Member of the PLLC. As such, a Licensed Massage Therapist gets to enjoy the benefits of being a part of a Professional Organization, and, as Members with ownership interest; the LMT gets to enjoy a percentage of the profits as well! In addition, as Members, they are eligible for certain tax deductions and benefits which would not be available to LMTs as employees.
Finally, because spa d'sante is a PLLC, only Licensed Massage Therapists can own interest in the PLLC. This means that massage therapy stays in the hands of those who know what massage therapy is all about - Massage Therapists.
